Rich has travelled the world and now lives abroad. He wanted something for his two beloved nieces that would remind them of him when he wasn't around. Each of the young women is new in their careers and/or schooling, so Rich decided on messenger bags for both. He sent his memory-filled green suede jacket and a tapestry. I created the two bags for his nieces.

My name is Bobby Watters. My mom told me what a huge help you were in getting my Grandfather's coat turned into a bag, and I wanted to reach out to thank you for making such a great gift possible! This Christmas, I was able to use the bag on its first trip (it was about a half-hour drive to my parents, but I was excited for an excuse to use it, so we'll call that a trip lol). My mom regularly reminisces on my Grandfather's flying days and has mentioned the jacket before, but I had no idea she still had the jacket, much less plans for it to be turned into a bag. I can't believe you were able to preserve the wings and keep them on the bag - I am blown away that you were able to transfer such a small and delicate detail onto the bag. The bag has been wonderful for its practical use, but most of all, I am touched by the sentimental value.  Thank you so much for making this gift possible. I am truly touched by it.

My mom absolutely LOVED this jacket and these gloves.  This black fringe leather jacket was one of her favorites for hitting the town. The gloves were everyday work gloves but I never saw her without a pair. As a tribute to her memory I ordered three (3) Ancestry Bags -one for my sister, one for my niece and one for me.  We now get to carry a piece of one or two of her favorite things and honor her every day.
